What Is Neighborly?
Neighborly is our ongoing outreach and missions initiative—our church being the hands and feet of Jesus. We seek to care like Jesus so our neighbors can see Jesus.
We intentionally strive for a balanced rhythm of projects that offer:
Opportunities to give — meeting tangible needs through financial or material donations.
Opportunities to do — hands-on projects that engage hearts and foster deeper connections.
Beyond the ongoing partnerships below, you’ll find additional Monthly Focus Initiatives throughout the year. When you see Neighborly Bags in the lobby, you’ll know there’s a new Focus. Just grab a bag, and there’ll be instructions inside.
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
Hebrews 10:24–25

We send short-term mission teams twice a year to build widow’s homes & provide support for two partners. Casa Angelinais an orphanage providing birth – adult care for more than 100 orphans & widows. Orphans are welcomed into homes and widows are provided housing, food, income & care.
How to Get Involved:
- Volunteer – go on an upcoming short-term mission trip! Generally in the summer months, this is a great introductory trip for anyone interested in a mission’s experience, in working alongside others from Generations, and in providing much needed ministry to an underserved third world population. Give to Neighborly
Generations is committed to investing an annual amount equaling 10% or more of the funds given to our General Fund into ministry outside our walls. In addition to the Neighborly focus projects listed above, we provide hundreds of Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts to families in need, support the Cold Weather Shelter in Greeley, provide care, counseling and sometimes financial assistance to families in and around the communities we are located in, and provide support to pastors, church plants and mission partners through the Mountain Plains District of the Wesleyan Church.
The best way to ensure Neighborly is a success is to Volunteer and Give as requested when each Neighborly focus is given attention during the calendar year. With giving, the most flexible gift, and the gift most helpful for ensuring ongoing missionary support, is a designated gift towards “Missions Fund” from the drop-down menu at the button below.
