Most of us probably think that when it comes to being a good Christian, we’re doing okay… right? We don’t murder, or steal. We try not to lie. You know… The “bad” sins.
Here’s the problem: God is just as concerned with the “small” sins that we sweep under the rug. It’s easy to say “Well, at least I don’t…” or “Well, I’m not as bad as…” but the reality is that all sin holds us back from the best that God has for us.
We live in a complex time, and we often think that the world we live in doesn’t look like the world Jesus lived in. And yet – most of the sin struggles we deal with everyday are struggles the Bible gives us clear direction on. Things like apathy, greed, and gossip feel small on the surface, but can plague our hearts.
In this new teaching series, we’ll unpack how to find freedom from our everyday vices so we’re free to live into the life God designed for us.
