What’s this about?

Leadership matters in the local church, and lay leaders provide support and accountability to the pastors and staff of Generations Church. A Board of Administration and Nominating Committee are appointed to help advance the vision and withhold the values of Generations.

How and when do I vote?

Ballots will be printed and available in the church entries on Sunday, June 5 and 12, and at the Local Church Conference on Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30PM.

Board of Administration

Team Meetings:  second Tuesday of the month, 10 times per year, 6:30 – 8:30pm.

Team Responsibilities:  affirm and protect the vision, pray for and encourage the pastor towards healthy spiritual leadership, advise key operational decisions.

Team Requirements:  partner of Generations Church, committed to passionately living out our mission, vision and values.

Team Members:  18 nominated, 9 elected, three year terms implemented beginning in 2022.

Nominating Committee

Team Meetings:  once or twice per year, typically late spring, two hours each.

Team Responsibilities:  prayerfully affirm current lay leaders and nominate new lay leaders to be elected by the church and serve in various functions to fulfill our vision.

Team Requirements:  partner of Generations Church, committed to passionately living out our mission, vision and values.

Team Members:  6 nominated, 4 elected, one year term through Spring of 2023.
