This morning as Team members were arriving, the looks on faces were varied; nervous, excited, a bit tired… but ready! Watching social media posts off and on throughout the day was fun, varied as well, each with a different spin, but of the same experience.
Writing this, I’m listening to the album created for the Team on Spotify by MamaNell, AKA – Jynelle Jacobsen, and thinking about all the planning, training, packing and preparation that has gone into the trip… the same experience, yet different perspectives, gifts, abilities, jobs assigned… and I’m thinking about the work, that the same God wants to do differently in and through each member, all on the same trip. It’s incredible. It’s mind-boggling to consider how BIG our God is. As I listen to “Set A Fire” that’s my prayer for the Team, that each would be set on fire in a way they’ve never known before, that they would serve on fire, come back on fire all because they were close to Jesus and experienced Him in ways only intimacy with Him will allow. Same trip, same experiences, but personal touch by Jesus!
Will you join me in praying for their health and safety, for their hearts and minds, and that each would be set on fire, changed, and used to bring glory to our Heavenly Father?
